Director of Product Design

It’s not often you get to use your powers for good like this! This Global NFP organisation is expanding their operations and NYC is their design hub they’re looking to build and scale around the talented Design Director they’re about to hire!

They’re a start-Up so with a small design team in place (4 – 5 Mid Level Designers) and they’re ready to bring in their Design Director to help steer the ship and scale up the team.

This is a hands-on role getting you right across UX to UI so you must be skilled, adept and ok with rolling up your sleeves in both UX and right through to Visual UI. Your experience in this will be obvious in your folio showing how you approach problems and your final Hi Fidelity outcomes.

So as an experienced Design Leader you can expect in this role;

– Have ownership of the Design; report direct into the CPO and have the design team reporting into you

– Autonomy to guide the design and scale up your team as required

– Responsibility for validating the experience for their customers and crafting a great product that is going change lives

– Visually guide the look of the product, working with existing styles but with room to explore and expand their brand – they’re more than open to this!

– Continue growing with the company as their product continues to gain traction and attention!
