Lead UX/UI Designer

We’re seeking a Lead Product Designer for a first-of-its-kind “wellness ecosystem,” located in the heart of NYC. This opportunity will allow you to be a part of the early stages of what is soon to be the future of wellness; gyms, therapists, spas, and your primary care physician – all under one roof.

The Lead Product designer will need to have e-commerce experience in order to bridge the gap between the online shopping experience and the in-person store experience.

Ideal Candidate Has:

• Experience designing and launching digital products E2E. Bonus: if in the e-commerce and wellness spaces
• Customer-centric and data-driven focus while creating designs, with a record of showcasing metric improvements through the UX/UI

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization

• Good working understanding of key UX processes, principles, and trends such as user research, prototyping, and competitive analysis

• Proven ability to work cross-team and incorporate feedback from business leaders, product management, marketing, and engineering into refined and intuitive customer experiences

• Experience collaborating with front end engineers to ensure designs align with FED capabilities

• Working understanding of HTML, Javascript, and CSS

• The ability to be flexible as business needs and processes evolve

• Hands-on experience with wireframing and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, and/or, Invision
