The banking space in the US has slipped so far behind the rest of the world that it’s opened itself up for serious disruption and as technology involves, companies are finding new ways for everyday consumers to bank – offering them incredible features and options not currently on offer from our big traditional options.

In this case – this brand is highly established and proven overseas, so now they are looking to scale, grow and adapt to the US market and bring their suite of products to US consumers who are screaming for a better alternative!

Whilst they have an established team in Europe including an exceptional team of Product Designers – this position here in NYC is very much local to the US. There is a great Design DNA to borrow from but a lot of interesting Product work that needs to be done. With a small team in place here in the US covering Product Design Leadership and research – there exists a very challenging and interesting position of Product Designer who can bring a particular strength with UI to the position.

What they’ll look for from you;

– Commercial Product Design experience – you’ve worked in this role already, likely somewhere between 2 and 5 years in the game

– Mobile First Design – int he world of Apps, you’re designing mobile first and can show that in the work you’ve done

– True UI/Visual skills – this is a Product Design opportunity but you’ve got a real strength in your visual UI – reflected in your folio

– You can show informed Designs – you know the reasoning behind what you’ve done visually
