Senior Product Designer

Calling all Product Designers!

We are working with one of the longest-running Social Media/News platforms who are seeking to rebuild and revamp their web and mobile product.

They’re in need of a Senior Product Designer to join their team either in Palo Alto or NYC, and they’re looking to make the decision ASAP! They have great benefits including flex hours, company outings, company events, and more! If you’re open to relocating, they could offer a competitive package!

Here’s a brief snapshot of what your day to day will look like:

• You’ll collaborate with product managers, researchers, content strategists, and engineers to oversee the user experience of a product from its conception to launch!
• Research and solve existing problems users face on a regular basis.
• You will lead the design creation of the web, client, and mobile platform user experiences.
• Design multi-device content presentation system for videos, news articles, and audio content.
• Collaborate with strategic partners to design off-platform flipboard experiences.
• You’ll give constructive feedback to your team to ensure that the quality of work is always top-notch.

What You’ll Need to Qualify:

• 5 years real-world experience in interaction and visual design
• Ability to communicate design ideas effectively
• Proof demonstrating seeing products end-to-end (hybrid UX an UI)
• Superstar portfolio that exhibits hi-fi work, typography, grid systems, color theory, iconography and other aspects of visual design.
• Must be comfortable performing within a fast-paced environment.
