Snr UX Designer – IT

A well-known multinational IT company is actively growing its Design team and looking to hire an experienced UX Designer to join them at their flourishing design studio in Austin, TX or other work locations (San Jose, CA, RTP, NC & California, Bay Area) on a full-time basis. This is a great opportunity to work on a large-scale project, creating innovative solutions for a breakthrough cloud-based technology product. The ideal candidate will have experience of effectively collaborating with Engineering and Product Management teams, demonstrating leadership, and interest to learn and work with innovative technologies. A Senior UX Designer will be working on a cross-functional team, effectively communicating and partnering up with some of the leading technologists in the cloud computing field, working on delivering creative solutions for an enterprise-level software application product, addressing their most challenging business problems and opportunities.

Main Responsibilities:

• Deliver and review UX Design ideas and solutions for user’s wants and needs
• Collaborating with other UX/Visual Designers, Product Managers, Researchers, Engineers to deliver effective and rich designs
• Participate and lead workshops, interviews, user/design research and other UX activities in an Agile environment
• Communicating and delivering ideas (verbally and visually) through sketches, wireframes, interactive clickable prototypes, etc.
• Testing and validating working hypothesis, maintaining UX best practices

Who You Are:

• Creative, initiative, questioning and open to provide and take critique/feedback, focusing on finding and implementing the best possible solution for specific kind of product and business objective
• Great listener and effective communicator, willing to collaborate with cross-functional teams form both design and technical backgrounds
• You have 5+ years of experience in UX Design, successfully delivering solutions for complex enterprise-level products
• You demonstrate great presentation skills and technical curiosity
• You LOVE what you do and help others around you grow and develop themselves
