User Experience Designer

Global Digital Agency seeks a team of UX and UI designers for their NY office.

You’ll work with an incredibly dynamic team that focuses on research, concepting, prototyping, and designing beautiful products, services, interfaces, and interactive communications that make a measurable impact on users and in their clients’ businesses by making a meaningful difference in the world.

You’ll have an integral part in driving user-centered-design processes, and help determine the various UX deliverables to solve the challenge. Responsible for presenting solutions to the internal leads to ensure best-in-class, human-centric experiences.

Be an advocate for the user is your war cry, all while having a passion for experiences that connect physical and digital worlds.

• Create concepts, journeys, requirements, wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications
• Work with research teams to define personas and behavioral archetypes.
• Lead ideation sessions and workshops with the team and clients.
• Sell the vision of a proposed design through scenarios, storytelling, prototyping, and design artifacts.
• Keep current with design tools, thinking, and trends
• Be an advocate for the user and their needs.
• Define the undefined. 😉
• Champion collaboration and team-building

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience Agency or in-house product experience is a must. There are more senior/director levels open, please apply and I’d be happy to discuss.
• Some experience leading a team of junior UX designers is a plus
• Deliver elegant solutions to complex problems.
• The ability to appreciate the business and technical constraints for a range of projects, and to discover and prioritize trade-offs for any given design.
• The ability to work well in a diverse team and collaborate with client stakeholders.
• Experience working within established brand style guides.
• Strong information and visualization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to deliver user experiences

Must be onsite in NYC
