This is a company with several offices around the world. The NYC office is high performing and big on creativity and delivery. This is a company that is known globally for being the go-to for true experience design. Both Design and Build.
They have a need for another Senior UX Designer to join their team where you specialise purely in UX and Interaction design. Yes, a true UX role where you aren’t doing hi fi visuals all day long – this is an actual UX role.
Their immediate need is for Contract UXers. Designers that can dive into 40 hours a week at highly competitive contract rates. Join their existing team which is a mix of both permanent and contract Designers!
The teams are set up as UX and Visual/UI so typically as the UXer you’re;
– Workshopping with stakeholders – ideating, taking them on the journey, getting them involved to be part of the process and problem solving. They love workshopping and are big advocates for Design Thinking methodology!
– Pitching ideas and solutions – you have room and are empowered to be creative, it’s not just playing it safe – but what can you come up with?!?
– Personas, flows, IA – all part of your standard tool kit and you’re confident with this
– Wireframing – this is about as far as you’ll take it before you work with a UI Designer to help bring it to visual life.
Why work with them?
– The Projects- eCommerce focused, you’re bucking trends and status quo and coming up with incredible ideas and solutions to push eComm further
– The Team – You’re working with a talented group of UX and UI Designers, under the leadership of a UX Director who will mentor and guide you, they are all about empowering you and helping you skill up further too
– The Modern Environment – need a day to work from home? No Problem. Want to be in an office with all the mod cons for you – got that too. This is a company that get’s it.
If you’re an experienced UX Designer and you feel you’re stagnating where you are, maybe you’re not in a team or maybe there’s limited growth opportunity – then we should certainly be chatting about this role
