Customer Engagement Marketing Manager

Salt is partnering with a leading global technology services and consulting company to hire a Customer Engagement Marketing Manager. This is a full-time, permanent position- applicants must be legally authorized to work in the USA. This position is fully remote, but applicants in ET/CT preferred.

The team is looking for a passionate and experienced Customer Engagement Marketing Manager who will be responsible for driving marketing plans and events that increase and accelerate pipeline both direct and through key channel and industry-related relationships. This person must be both strategist and tactician as they will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders to create thought leadership and lead generation events that balance short-term revenue with longer term client relationships.

The role + responsibilities

  • Define marketing plans that create/accelerate opportunities and build executive relationships
  • Oversee all aspects of events, including logistics, budgeting, vendor and partner management, content development, and working with sales to drive strategy around the event
  • Collaborate closely with executives, sales management, field sales, corporate marketing, content marketing, marketing operations and communications to create and deliver integrated field events and go to marketing activities that tie back to Wipro near term and long term objectives
  • Track program results, measuring success, and reporting to marketing and sales
  • Maintain event and overall program budgets
  • Work with partners and their marketing/sales teams to design and implement joint campaigns
  • Create and manage campaigns within SF that support metrics for lead dashboards and quarterly business reports
  • Drive internal process for success project management of full event experience
  • Leverage a firm grasp on virtual event experiences, platforms and processes to support a fully virtual or hybrid campaign

Your background + experience:

  • 10+ years event marketing experience
  • Deep understanding of experiential marketing, corporate and field events
  • A decisive, nimble, fun, inspiring, & entrepreneurial character; a team player who brings a sense of curiosity, enthusiasm and leadership
  • Big thinker with an incredible attention to detail, challenge the status quo – research and recommend new ways to approach marketing and events overall and the details within them
  • Flexible to shift as needs, budgets and asks change, able to navigate and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and work with a range of partners (size and scale) and personalities
  • Proven track record of successfully partnering with sales management
  • Experience working with multiple territories, multiple priorities, and multiple projects at once
  • Experience in B2B and/or the technology industry a must
  • Experience with Salesforce and marketing automation systems, Salesforce CRM and Marketo preferred
  • Budgeting experience and strong Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills, presentation development
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 30%)
