What We’re Looking For:
A self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment. A creative thinker who can develop and execute experiential concepts and activations that meet our brand and client’s goals-concepts that become next-level impactful moments.
What You’ll Do:
* Maintain valuable client relationships and marketing partnerships for the benefit of the organization with current and future partners
* Manage the ideation and execution of a large range of B2B and B2C experiential programs including: large-scale festivals and conferences, franchises, editorial events/activations and custom advertiser experiences
* Manage production, logistics and execution of key experiential and activation elements for marketing partnerships including Tribeca Film Festival, Neuehouse, Sundance Film Festival, The Whitney Museum, Frieze Art Fair and more as they develop
* Participate in the development of new strategic marketing opportunities and support brand strategy team in maintaining and growing partnership opportunities based on advertising goals and key internal priorities
* Manage partner relationships from initial outreach to execution, packaging and taking to market
* Support brand strategy team on the production and execution of marketing events, webinars and road shows as needed
* Participate in internal brainstorms and concept development for RFP’s, RFI’s and proactive pitches and bring big creative thinking, writing and visual presentation skills to each proposal and pitch
* Manage proposals from initial concept, ideation and pitch through to execution and recap development for a range of experiences on behalf of varied networks
* Participate directly with clients on calls and in meetings to ensure event concepts and proposals are delivered, production is on track, and clients’ expectations and goals are met
* Manage event production elements including P&L development and budget tracking, production schedules and timelines, venue and/or platform management, on-site/virtual branding elements, food and beverage, talent booking/prep, guest engagement and sponsor activations
* Work closely with marketing and promotion lead, insights/data teams and design on strategy and timeline to create targeted guest list and ensure strong attendance for select events and activations
* Research industry standards and partnership opportunity, trends, event concepts (both virtual and in-person), and monitor competitive brands’ events to ensure Vox Media remains on trend and innovative within the industry
* Other responsibilities as assigned by manager or supervisor.
What You’ll Bring:
* 4+ years experience working on brand partnerships and event production, in-person and virtually
* Strong understanding and interest in current events, pop-culture, trends and innovations with the ability to translate that knowledge into experiences and revenue-driving opportunities
* Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and juggle multiple projects at once while paying close attention to timelines and details
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong skill set to come up with creative/out-of-the-box concepts, build proposals, and execute when they sell through
* An entrepreneurial spirit with demonstrated success in managing projects from concept development to execution
* Ability to collaborate across multiple groups and understand the value of working as a team
