Product Marketing Manager – Cloud

Salt is partnering with a leading global cyber-security company to hire a Product Marketing Manager for Cloud. This position is permanent, FTE and will be based out of Austin, TX or remote. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

The Role
The team is looking to hire an experienced product marketing manager to lead the Cloud Security product line. In this role, you will become a subject matter expert of the technologies providing Cloud Infrastructure Entitlements Management (CIEM) and Just-in-Time (JIT) privileged access to public cloud resources.

You will work closely with Product Management and go-to-market teams to develop expertise in these technologies and market segments, and play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of the Cloud Security business and product line.

Your day-to-day:

• Create impactful and differentiated product positioning and messaging
• Work on the frontlines of our self-service / free trial business model with product management, sales, and operations teams
• Analyze and optimize existing self-service / free trial processes to achieve pipeline and revenue growth objectives
• Lead product launches and develop marketing materials aimed at public cloud developers and security teams
• Conduct primary and secondary market research on requirements and competitive positioning in these emerging market segments
• Collaborate closely with solutions marketing and brand experience teams on demand generation, content marketing and thought leadership initiatives
• Serve as a subject matter expert and develop thought leadership collateral for customer events and webinars and industry events
• Product impactful sales tools and support enablement efforts for sellers and partners
• Work cross-functionally with product management and field sales teams to inform product strategy

Your background + profile:

• 5+ years of experience in Marketing or Product Management
• 3+ years of experience in product marketing, and/or product management
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives, collaborating across Product, Demand Gen, Content, Enablement, and Sales teams
• Experience with product-led growth / self-service business models is a significant plus
• Experience marketing to enterprise development teams is a significant plus
• Experience with AWS, Azure and GCP is a significant plus
• Experience working closely and building relationships with global teams and senior-level management
• Passion for the cybersecurity and/or cloud computing space
• Demonstrated communication, writing and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and solve problems with a positive attitude
• Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, or technical degree
