Director of Product Marketing

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the growth marketing plan and execution for product and platform expansion
  • Based on a deep understanding of market needs, define clear and compelling messaging, unique positioning, content, sales enablement, lead gen strategies, as well as account support and expansion programs
  • Orchestrate product release marketing efforts and lead the evolution of our approach as our set of offerings grows
  • Perform strategic market analysis including conducting market research and win/loss interviews, working with sales, current clients, prospects, industry analysts and influencers
  • Research and provide market and buyer insights and intelligence to help inform product-market fit, the product roadmap, and eventually messaging and positioning
  • Manage internal and external training for new and existing product lines; act as product “knowledge center” particularly as it relates to use cases and client-side benefits
  • Create compelling collateral, including sales presentations, one sheets and whitepapers, which highlights the features, benefits, and varied use cases of Lotame’s products and solutions to Lotame’s key client types, including global publishers, brands, and agencies
  • Leverage intelligence about key competitors to develop recommendations for how to successfully compete against them
  • Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to ensure proper and current product messaging is woven through all marketing tactics (for example, Lotame’s brand website, emails, events, webinars, and more)
  • Gain a deep understanding of a complex product suite and client use cases to identify synergies between capabilities to bring new innovation to clients
  • Perform regular status updates to communicate results to leadership/board and other internal stakeholders – including product marketing KPIs and solution-specific MQLs

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years marketing experience, preferably with 3+ years of content or product marketing experience in the B2B SaaS, adtech, or martech spaces
  • In-depth and up-to-date knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem, key stakeholders/vendors, digital campaign management and monetization metrics
  • Strong history of leading and executing solutions marketing strategies and plans including building a market-driven business case, creating compelling messaging materials, developing and executing marketing and launch plans
  • Understanding of the full product development lifecycle process and agile software development lifecycle process
  • Ability to understand, simplify and articulate complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Fun, “can-do” personality; willingness to roll sleeves up and get work done; ability to develop good relationships and work with external and internal stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills
  • BA/BS degree (or equivalent)required
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Hubspot and Google Analytics is preferred
