A global leading SaaS firm are going through hyper growth and looking to hire a Sales Director to run their west coast Sales Team in SF! You will oversee a team of 6-12 Account Executives and execute on regional plans, including market mapping of core customers (SMB/Mid-Market/Enterprise) and identifying the benefits of the firms solutions to solve customers’ challenges and ensure customers’ success.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Developing new business and GTM strategy, being a partner within your region to build and meet customers’ demand
- Act as a player/coach, grow and manage a team of 10 Account Executives
- Forecasting sales activity; weekly, monthly and recurring monthly revenue achievement
- Implement sales process improvements, working with Sales Operations
- Responsible for generating sales team revenue of $10M each year
- Work closely with Marketing, Product, Business Development, Solutions Engineer, Customer Success and Legal teams
- Helping foster an open community and grow commercial offerings
What You Bring Along:
- BA/BS or equivalent educational background
- 5+ years of successful SaaS sales
- 5+ years of coaching and managing Account Executives (minimum team size 5)
- Ability to communicate effectively with both developers and executives
- Track record of achievement demonstrated by exceeding your quota
- Understanding of the nuances of selling open source technology
- Experienced user of Salesforce
- Demonstrable ability in sales methodology and forecasting
- Ability to operate in an entrepreneurial environment – previous experience in a start up is highly desirable
