A global SaaS FinTech payments firm is hiring for their Business Development team in North America. This British-based firm has been expanding their US presence the past few years and are now looking for a true Business Development leader for North America to be based in NYC reporting directly to the Global Head of BD. You will be responsible for managing a senior team, driving sales and the firm’s rapid growth across their banking and platform partnerships.
Job Description:
- Lead the BD function for North America in maintaining and closing new partnerships across key verticals.
- Strategic planning for new partnerships and growth in the region.
- Scale the team for success and define hiring plans.
- Be a strong communicator and collaborator to improve sales processes, and bring new approaches both in the region and at a global level.
- Bringing new ideas to the messaging, pitches, GTM strategy, pricing and overall growth plans to help execute on an exceptional customer experience.
Who are we looking for?
- An entrepreneurial, driven individual who has a passion for global payments and FinTech product sales at enterprise level.
- You are a strategic thinker, have led regional B2B sales teams to success across complex sales cycles and collaborated across product, legal, compliance and risk.
- You are data driven, have experience selling technical API solutions and are customer focused.
- 10+ years experience in software sales, or business development, ideally offering experience selling to Financial Services.
- Experience in forecasting sales performance and managing a team of 5+.
- B2B Payments OR Digital Banking are highly desirable.
- Humble attitude.
