Sales Development Representative

Our client who are innovative leaders in the IoT space managing challenges of mobility and data security across the enterprise sector are looking to grow their sales & customer success team. The firm specializes in enhanced security to enable digital transformation for many of the world’s leading enterprises. With operations across the globe, they have strategic distribution and technology partnerships across the telecommunication industry.

A business-critical hire right now is for a talented and energetic individual to join their team in either Atlanta or Dallas (remote working) as an Inside Sales Representative to drive the growth of their enterprise customers in the US.

What you will be doing:

  • Plan activities to generate leads in collaboration with marketing and sales team
  • Promote the firm’s products and services. This needs the ability to overview the service value proposition and some high-level technical service capabilities and understanding
  • Influencing the purchasing decision of prospect customers
  • Pass-qualified leads to sales partner account executives
  • Regularly review lead and pipeline progression
  • Proactively give qualitative and quantitative feedback to marketing on campaigns
  • Maintain a customer records database to support opportunity pipeline management in Salesforce
  • Weekly reporting updates to all stakeholders within sales and marketing

What you will bring:

  • 1-3 years’ experience as a sales development/business development rep or inside sales
  • Experience working in a SaaS B2B environment
  • Basic knowledge of Mobile/IoT/SD Wan Technology
  • Practical experience in prospecting via phone, email and other digital tools (HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Ability to build consistent new revenue pipeline
  • Self-starter with good interpersonal skills and persistence
  • Ability to identify and target new potential leads
  • Strong team player and collaboration and communication
  • Demonstrated communication skills, and the ability to achieve set targets
  • Experience of working with Salesforce is ideal
