Sales Manager

New York Permanent / Permanent $90000.00 - $150000 annually + Competitive benefits

A leading NYC Series A SaaS firm are looking to hire a Sales Manager to run their east coast Sales Team in NYC! You will oversee a team of 3-4 Account Executives and execute on regional plans, including market mapping of core customers and identifying the benefits of the firms solutions to solve customer’s challenges and ensure customer’s success.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Act as a player/coach, grow and manage a team of 3+ Account Executives (with plans to scale)
  • Developing new business and GTM strategy, being a partner within your region to build and meet customers’ demand
  • Forecasting sales activity; weekly, monthly and recurring monthly revenue achievement
  • Implement sales process improvements and operations
  • Responsible for generating sales team revenue of $10M+ per year
  • Work closely with the CEO

What You Bring Along:

  • BA/BS or equivalent educational background
  • 5+ years of successful SaaS sales
  • 3+ years of coaching and managing Account Executives
  • Experience generating sales team revenue of $1M per year
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both developers and executives
  • Track record of achievement demonstrated by exceeding your quota
  • Understanding of the nuances of selling open source technology
  • Demonstrable ability in sales methodology and forecasting
  • Ability to operate in an entrepreneurial environment – previous experience in a start up is highly desirable
