Customer Technical Support Engineer

Our client are an established startup who are looking to surpass a billion in their IPO in two years.
They are looking for a technical support engineer who enjoys working with data and solving issues for customers using their technical expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake support to customers: Phone, email, web
  • Support engineering teams to resolve customer needs
  • Be able to work on technical and non-technical issues
  • Be available for weekend support work when necessary

Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum of 18 months experience with a technical customer support role
  • Good knowledge in SQL (debugging, troubleshooting, writing)
  • Solid troubleshooting skills in different operating systems
  • Proficient knowledge of internet protocols
  • Coding: R, Python, .NET. or Java
  • Nice to have: Good understanding of Public Cloud environments: AWS, Azure, PCF, GCP etc.
