Application Security Engineer

Application Security Engineer – $220,000+

Salt is currently partnered with a leading Healthcare the US in an effort to enhance best Security practices. Together, we are searching for a number of senior Application Security Engineers to join a growing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for partnering with other business units to ensure & will be given a variety of tasks including:

· Collaborating with Engineers, helping to build out their security practices, helping transform their Agile and DevOps practices.

· Working with various stakeholders to improve (sometimes reinvent) the security architecture.

· Complete a variety of tasks including Threat modeling, Penetration Testing (pen testing).

The ideal candidate will have a background similar to:

· Deep technical knowledge of application security – Web application preferred

· Manual testing and Automation testing (dynamic testing, static testing, pen testing)

· A background in scripting (python)

· Experience working in a cloud based environment (AWS is preferred but will consider Azure or GCP)
