Data Privacy Engineer

Privacy Engineer – up to $190,000k

Salt has partnered with an Engineering giant who are looking to hire their first internal Data Privacy Engineer who will oversee the design of the Global privacy program from a technical perspective & managing multiple privacy automation processes.

For the right person, this role can be worked remotely within the USA, this role requires a true mix of Data Privacy & technical knowledge. You will be given a variety of tasks including:

• Define & build all Data service offerings that will be applied to all global office locations
• Implementation of Privacy best practices aligning with the existing Product, Software &Security teams.

The ideal candidate will have a background similar to:

• 5 years’ experience working in Privacy familiar with GDPR & CCPA – LGPD would be a massive bonus
• 3 Years of Software Engineering experience – Python/ Java/ Ruby/ JavaScript
• Experience on public clouds such as AWS or Azure
• Strong Educational Background (Computer Science is preferred but will consider surrounding fields)
