Principal Security Engineer

Application Security Consultant- $220,000+

Salt is currently partnered with the most prestigious consultancy in the US in an effort to build out its Cyber Security/ Application Security practice. Together, we are searching for a number of highly educated Application Security Engineers to join a growing practice.

Unlike many positions within consultancies, this position will require no travel. You will be working with a multitude of clients ranging from Fortune 100 through to some of the most exciting hyper growth start-ups. You will be given a variety of tasks including:

• Collaborating with clients, helping to build out their security practices, helping transform their Agile and DevOps practices.
• Working with various stakeholders to improve (sometimes reinvent) the security architecture.
• Complete a variety of tasks including Threat modeling, Penetration Testing (pen testing).

The ideal candidate will have a background similar to:

• Strong Educational Background (Computer Science is preferred but will consider surrounding fields)
• Manual testing and Automation testing (dynamic testing, static testing, pen testing)
• A background in scripting (python)
• Experience working in a cloud based environment (AWS is preferred but will consider Azure or GCP)
• The ability to work with key stakeholders/c-suite both internal and external (working in a consulting environment).
