Sr. Application Security Engineer – REMOTE

Application Security Engineer required to work for a leading esports and gaming platform company. Our client is seen as a leader within the space and is currently expanding at a rapid rate.

You will be responsible for ensuring security best practices are adhered to as the platform offering grows and new features are rolled out. This position will require great leadership experience as well as the perfect blend of hands on coding and application development, from a security standpoint, ensuring a Secure Software Development Life-Cycle. You will focus on researching attack vectors, CI/CD pipeline, and building automation & detection models.

This position would suit someone with great interpersonal skills, as well as having a strong technical acumen.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Knowledge of one or more programming languages such as; Python, Java, Golang, etc
• 5+ years’ experience within a security focused engineering role
• Experience of working within a start-up environment
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) experience
• Security Automation, Orchestration & Response experience is preferable

You will be joining a leading esports and gaming platform, who are growing at a rapid rate with ambitious growth plans moving into 2021. This role will be vital in shaping the security strategy as well as giving you a chance to still stay hands on and involved within the development process.
