About Our Client
Our client doesn’t just create amazing experiences for airport guests-they push the boundaries of excellence in ways that revolutionize the industry. It’s the quality of their passion and creativity that allows us to continue improving the passenger experience in airports.
Key qualifications:
* Scripted language experience (PHP and Python preferred, although experience with other scripting languages such as Perl are also welcome)
* MySQL experience is a must
* Strong fluency in Java, and ability to read and interpret other people’s code. While this job does not
require authoring Java code, it will often require reverse-engineering existing code and rebuilding it.
* Past experience working with server-side/middleware RESTful API services and microservices
* Grasp of DevOps Automation tools and experience with configuration management (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt) and CI tools such as Jenkins or similar
Nice to Have:
* Active native and/or hybrid iOS application development experience
* Active HTML5 mobile/web responsive design application development
* JavaScript experience at an expert-level proficiency
* Experience with at least one modern framework for mobile hybrid applications, with demonstrated applied experience (e.g. show us your app!)
* Past experience coding hybrid and native applications for Android is a major plus
The ideal candidate will be willing to get their hands dirty, and quickly with little handholding. Some work may be straightforward application ports; other work may require reverse engineering existing legacy code, and building (and documenting) new fresh code optimized for the new technology infrastructure.
