Tech Lead (Java)
Java specialists on the East coast needed. Tech consultancy looking for a Lead Java Engineer to be based out of centre city location (or remote) for long term commitment.
We’re looking for technology “junkies” that have a passion for emerging technologies and are eager to experience unfamiliar areas of a system to swiftly prototype new solutions.
This engineer should have a background in Java and feel at home engineering in multiple technology areas while working on prototype and proof-of-concept assignments across the full-stack. Having 8-10 years experience, he/she should be able to prove experience working with architects on complex projects.
Candidates SHOULD be advanced in the following areas:
- Building cloud-based platforms and/or applications
- Java, Spring or similar frameworks
- 2+ years building cloud apps, SaaS, PaaS using AWS, Azure or Cloud Foundry
- API Management
- Microservices Design
- Spring Cloud
This will initially run as a contract position for the first year, with a view to going perm – those eligible to work permanently in the US should apply.
