Engineering Manager

One of New York’s leading real estate marketplaces is in need of an Engineering Manager to lead Frontend development efforts.

You will split your time between writing code and managing a team of 5 to grow into stronger developers. You will work with the Product Managers and Tech Leads to help update and build new products and features. React is a must here as they have just added it to their stack. Ideally you will be able lead efforts on how to best implement React into production.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• 6+ years of professional development experience
• Experience working with JavaScript, React specifically
• 1+ years of experience mentoring or leading other developers
• You should have experience working on cross-functional teams, understanding the value of communication across technical, product and business teams
• You have strong Computer Science fundamentals, with knowledge of general data structures and algorithms
• You should have at minimum a Bachelors Degree in a technical or quantitative focus
