Front-End Engineer

Responsibilities:

• • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot new and existing web applications.
  • Support fellow team members when requested or when assistance is warranted and public repositories or initiatives that benefit GeekHive.
  • Adheres to coding standards and conventions.
  • Assist QMS team with test data creation where appropriate.
  • Performing code reviews as required and general application bug fixes.
  • Estimate assigned tickets.
  • Coordinate testing with QMS team for assigned features.
  • Responsible for maintaining project credentials as necessary.
  • Document requirements as necessary.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of front end experience with JavaScript, VueJS, GraphQL, CSS, HTML
• Solid understanding of web development concepts
• Capable of translating arbitrary design into responsive styles; familiar with standards and conventions
• Can confidently implement UI behaviors with JavaScript in your preferred method, such as with vanilla JavaScript, jQuery or React
• Experience working with CMS platforms such as Sitecore and Drupal is a big plus
• Experience using common front end tools such as webpack and gulp; experience configuring them is a plus

This is a contract position. You will be required to provide a W9 and provide your own equipment. You will be working on projects for clients and prior to your start date, you will need to execute a contractor agreement (individual or entity) and/or an NDA.
