What you’ll do:

• Add thrilling new elements to our tournament server platform enabling contests, tournaments, and social features for Competitors & Fans all-round the globe.

• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies such as Kafka, Redis, DynamoDB, and MySQL RDS.

• Work on a distributed system throughout its life-cycle – research, design, development, testing, CI / CD.
• Accountable for the scalability, accessibility, and performance of production systems for a fast-growing user base.

• Work in partnership with cross functional groups to define, scope and deliver new features.

• Take part in interviewing, hiring, on-boarding, and mentoring new hires.

Your Skills:

• Familiarity in one or more backend languages such as Java, C#, Golang.
• Familiarity with MySQL or other RDBMS databases including design and optimization.
• Familiarity creating RESTful web services.
• Familiarity with container platforms such as Kubernetes for large scale deployment of microservices.
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud providers is a huge plus.
• Experience with NoSQL databases in a production environment is a plus.
