Lead Test Engineer

California Contract / 12 months Negotiable

Interested in becoming a Lead Test Engineer based out of the worlds leading technology hub, the Bay Area?

We’re looking for Test Engineers coming from a Java background that are experienced developing multiple tech areas while working across the full stack – these should be developers that are able to build the best automation into the CI/CD process. Selenium experience is a must, coupled with exemplary communications skills and at least 5 years professional experience in software test engineering.

Must be strong in below areas.

  • Apply testing methodologies, principles and processes to DEFINE and IMPLEMENT key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.
  • Develop end-to-end testing strategies using quality processes and methodologies by applying both business and functional knowledge.
  • Transform testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function using quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity.
  • Evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions.
  • Strong exposure in Cloud Testing, API Testing or Web service testing.
  • Knowledge on multiple testing tools like (minimum 2) – HP ALM/QC, Rally, JIRA iTrack , Load runner, Gatling, Cucumber, Selenium
  • Knowledge on Automation & DevOps tools Selenium, Jenkin, Nagios, Maven etc.
  • Has experience in planning and executing NFR tests.

  • Setup System and Integration test environments with automated test scripts, that can be triggered on continuous integration pipeline.
  • Provide technical leadership and strategic direction with a future-focused mindset.
