Project Coordinator

Airbnb has partnered with Salt on the hunt for someone to join their team remotely – We are looking for a seasoned Project Co-Ordinator/Project Manager for a fully remote, 12 month contract from anywhere in SA.

The ideal candidate has an Entrepreneurial spirit, is interested in tech, passionate about community engagement and serving different stakeholders, and has strong project management experience. This role covers the EMEA region, so previous experience engaging in those communities would be highly beneficial. Hourly rates are negotiable and this is an urgent assignment.

This role is responsible for the coordination and implementation of key projects in the EMEA region including the Airbnb Entrepreneurship Academy & the Qatar World Cup.

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in Project Co-Ordination/Project Management
• Exceptional excel skills and have experience in customizing project management tools for team and project needs.
• Proven ability to execute cross-functional projects with stakeholders at different levels.
• A natural coalition-builder and collaborator – able to build and maintain strong working relationships with peers with diverse perspectives.
• Open to working in a fast paced, always evolving environment.
• Creative mindset and ability to solve complex problems into actionable, outcome driven plans & take full ownership of tasks from start to finish.
• Exceptional organizational skills. Detail-oriented and process-driven – with an ability to drive clarity in complex environments.
• Proven ability to deliver projects within tight deadlines.
• First-rate communication skills – written and oral – in a wide range of formal and informal contexts.
• Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, take full ownership, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity.
• Personal integrity that reflect the clients core values and commitment to diversity and belonging.
