UI Designer

As a start-up business inside one of South Africa’s largest retailers, our client strives to deliver the best for their customers.

They understand the value of real hard work, hence they are looking for an ambitious person with a strong foundation and who is able to show practical examples of implementation.

This individual will be working with the Online UI and Product team to create an exceptional eCommerce user experience that supports the Online strategy. Ensuring that the experience and design drives sales, conversion, and user satisfaction across the Retailers Online/eCommerce channels.

Job responsibilities

• Collaborating with stakeholders and team members to create quality and seamless experiences for our customers
• Proactively contributing design ideas and improvements to our online and app shopping experience
• Keeping up to date with UI eCommerce trends
• Extensive QA testing with developers to ensure that all projects meet the required quality standards before go-live
• Extensive interaction with front end developers in co-creating interactions and prototyping options and ideas

You need at least 5+ year’s experience in a UI Design or similar role with a portfolio that demonstrates experience in UI Design.
