My client is a Tech start-up in the food industry. Recently pivoting from B2C to a B2 model, they are in search of a Senior Paid Media Manager, based in their Cape Town offices, Paarden Island, who can keep up with their innovative environment.
We are looking for a highly analytical, self-motivated and meticulous individual with a passion for growing brands and achieving exceptional ROI through paid media. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, reporting on and optimizing display, search and video PPC/ SEM campaigns to ensure alignment with the company’s online marketing strategy. This role requires the ability to operate on both a strategic and tactical level.
You will partner with internal teams, as well as external partners, to:
Align short-term and long-term business goals with PPC and SEM strategy and tactics
Analyse paid media traffic to develop, execute, test and report on paid and SEO/ SEM strategies
Manage and optimize media buys (including digital display, search, social, mobile etc.)
Monitor the evolving media landscape and help develop best practices for the company
Align PPC/ SEM strategies with general brand strategy
What you will be doing
Own paid media strategy for the company and its key brand partners
Set up the paid media accounts, tooling and other infrastructure for the company and its key brand partners
Develop, execute and optimise cutting-edge digital campaigns from conception to launch
Optimize paid media for qualified leads and ROI
Deliver paid media performance that contributes significantly to the company’s sales pipeline and revenue growth
Overseeing and managing the overall budget for paid media
Report paid media performance against key KPIs (ROI, conversion rate, cost & click performance, impressions/ reach)
Administer our paid media accounts
Conducting in-depth keyword and website research, ad grouping and audience targeting
Maintaining knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies
Working cross-departmentally to align campaign strategies and goals across the organization
Skills requirements
Bachelor’s degree
3-5+ years of experience in PPC, SEO/SEM and digital advertising
Proven track record of exceptional ROI and growth on campaigns
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Attention to detail and ability to utilise analytics tools to analyse data and trends in order to improve ROI and identify growth opportunities
Proven ability to interact and collaborate across different teams in order to accomplish goals
Strong experience with Google AdWords – annual certifications required
Facebook Blueprint – ongoing learning
Strong experience with social ad platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter
Understanding of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
Detailed report creation for paid campaigns
Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and project management skills
Self-motivated individual with a strong desire to succeed
