Social Media Engagement Lead

Position Objective:

Our client a very large reputable brand based in Cape Town is looking for a Social Media Engagement Manager. If you have 2+ years’ experience in managing a small team.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify complaints and differentiate between brands and product lines to bring to resolution.
  • Social Media Complaint handling.
  • Analyse and interpret reputational risk faced on social media and provide solutions to mitigate such risk.
  • Work cross-functionally to identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and align more closely with customer preferences.
  • Manage good records of standard operating procedure documents to ensure seamless query resolution.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • An existing diploma/ degree or working towards it in Consumer behaviour, Communications, Journalism or similar will be highly beneficial in this role.
  • Social media engagement.
  • Customer service operations, scheduling, workflow management, reporting, quality control and performance management.
  • 2+ years of experience leading a small team.
