Business Development Officer

A well established payment technology company is looking for a Business Development Officer to join their team in Cape Town. You would mainly be responsible for growing the newly formed Payment Service Provider (PSP) as part of their products and services. As the Business Development Officer, you will identify, drive and close new business growth opportunities and develop strategies to contribute to the financial growth of the company.

You will be responsible for:

• Expanding the customer base and sales pipeline for the Payment Service Provider product
• Keeping up to date with the latest Fintech trends
• Perform market data analysis and monthly reporting
• Set up meetings with new leads
• Managing service delivery with customers and partners

You have:

• 5 – 10 years in the payment technology space
• Good understanding of face-to-face payments, card and touchpoints payment
• Strong network within the industry
• Sales experience
