Analyst Developer

Job description

• Responsible for defining technical specifications based on functional design and defined Postilion architecture.
• Deliver development within agreed timelines and promote through the SDLC.
• Responsible for developing and configuring the Acquiring Postillion environment including the Terminal Application interface and Bin Configuration as well as the PowerCard to Postillion interface. Producing code customizations and compliance requirements, which is currently primarily based on the ACI product suite. This includes the needed technical specification and artefacts.
• Liaise with the BA to ensure that the functional design offers a technical viable solution and address the business requirements.
• Design test plans and provide guidelines to facilitate performance and stress testing.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Min:
  • Grade 12
  • A relevant 3 year tertiary qualification (i.e B.Sc Computer Science / B.Comm Information Systems)
  • At least 4 – 6 years’ relevant experience in:
  • ACI Postilion SDK
  • JAVA SDK
  • Switching Systems (i.e. Postilion, Base 24,)
  • Switching environment (Visanet; Banknet), for POS estate
  • Back Office systems (Extracts, Recons, Clearing and Settlement; Dispute Handling; Compliance and Risk; GL Integration)
  • Proven experience in systems Analyst Developerure / design
