Market Manager

Airbnb has partnered with Salt on the hunt for someone to join their team for a fully remote, 12-month contract ideally in Cape Town. This is an urgent assignment.

We are looking for a Market Manager to take ownership of; and grow Airbnb’s South African region. This role would suit a seasoned business development professional with a flair for finding and building complex solutions in modern marketplaces.

The ideal candidate has a self-starter attitude, entrepreneurial spirit, has a comprehensive analytical skillset, able to deal with complex situations and has a strong stakeholder engagement background.

Job Requirements:

  • 7-15 years of experience overall
  • Sales experience, key accounts management, business development in start-up, hospitality
  • Ideally, proficient in Excel, experience with Salesforce or another analytical tools
  • Experience in Data Visualisation/Reporting tools (Tableau; PowerBI; Qlikviwew etc)
  • Experienced at reporting
  • Agile
  • Self-starter attitude
  • Communication and engagement with internal and external stakeholders
  • Relationship building skills
  • Analytical mindset
  • Able to consultatively find solutions to complex situations/challenges
  • Relevant business Degree preferred
