Product Designer

We are looking for a product designer who will always be a voice for the customer, and personify the value of design thinking to the business.

Working on a powerful piece of software that helps businesses manage and protect their data, working with a global team to deliver on the needs of customers who engage with you and your work daily!

As a UX champion working with product management, design and engineering, you will help bring our software together into a cohesive experience that allows the user to understand, access, manage, and retrieve their business critical data.

Duties and responsibilities…

• Planning and implementing creative ways to collect and analyse the customer behaviour that informs the design of key product features.
• Designing interactions between users and new features using workflows and wireframes.
• Creating prototypes for usability testing and design discussions.
• Conducting user research and usability testing; performing competitive audits and market research and converting your findings into design decisions.

Essential skills and experience…

• Understand established and evolving standards, as well as best practices for human-computer interactions.
• Comfortable talking to stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrable experience facilitating design thinking workshops.
• Comfortable gathering requirements and contributing to the definition of deliverables.
• Use established usability principles to predict problems in user interfaces.
• Able to plan and execute usability tests and can record, analyse and present the resulting data to an audience outside your team.
