Product Owner (Cloud Infrastructure)

My client is a leading data management and security company. They are a fast-paced SaaS business, where User Experience is a true strategic enabler.

Duties and responsibilities:
* You will have matrix responsibility for the delivery and output of your assigned squad
* Work closely with Product Managers and Product Designers to capture, create & communicate requirements using a variety of techniques including workshops and interviews
* Translate and develop product roadmap features and prototypes into well-defined product requirements & stories including features, user stories and acceptance test criteria
* Prioritise and refine the backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of internal stakeholders and our customers
* Create, manage and regularly iterate an internal and external roadmap for your squad.
* Work with and set sprint goals for an Agile team of engineers by planning and clarifying user stories to ensure iterative customer value delivery
* Participate in team demos and retrospectives ensuring feature demos are presented to customers early and often
* Prepare and participate in agile ceremonies
* Creating (where relevant) and own metrics tracking and reporting for your product
* Be collaborative and design-thinking led, breaking down any barriers to move relationships forward.
* Work with multi-location development teams to deliver in rapid increments.

Skills, qualifications, and experience
* Previous experience in Product Ownership role(s) with SaaS experience including Cloud Infrastructure
* Previous experience of design thinking and UX centric methodologies
* Understanding of agile practices and experience of working in or leading an agile squad.
* Experience in maximising value produced by the Team ensuring Stories meet the customers’ needs and meet the definition of done while maintaining technical integrity
* Experience of working on Product User Stories Backlog Management Tools, e.g. Azure Devops or similar
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Experience in creating data driven & relevant customers personas that enable the Team & other stakeholders understand the customers’ context and empathise on a deeper level
* Able to work with peers, cross functional, distributed teams and senior stakeholders to deliver the product vision.
* Data driven, excellent knowledge of product KPIs, and have the ability to draw insight from the numbers and translate to product and business requirements.
* Driven to understand and learn their product, its features and the underlying technical composition.
