QA Engineer

Duties and responsibilities:

• Requirements analysis and processing.
• Estimation of the testing activities.
• Perform testing activities on one large or several small projects
• Test cases/checklists and other types of test documentation creation
• Participate in Research and Innovation days.
• An interest in expanding your horizons and learning new skills.
• Remain up to date on industry trends and share knowledge among teams.

Essential skills, qualifications, and experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in a QA role
• 3+ years of real working experience with Web-based projects
• Good experience in working with REST APIs, understanding of Soap APIs
• Understanding of HTML/CSS/JS
• Excellent knowledge of the full SDLC.
• Strong familiarity with Agile/Scrum/Kanban
• Good understanding of test design techniques
• Be passionate and self-driven.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Understanding of latest development best practices and standards

Bonus points:

• Understanding of programming languages (e.g. C#, Java, JS)
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Experience in using version control systems (e.g. GIT, SVN)
• Experience with web automation tools (e.g. Selenium Webdriver)
• Experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Comes from a Design-led, high-growth SaaS business background
