AWS Solutions Architect / Dev Ops

Our company is looking for a AWS Solutions Architect to join our team.

Responsibilities:

· Participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed to meet customer’s needs;

· Advise on ways to improve applications by leveraging AWS and or other cloud services, which result in cost savings or functionality improvement;

· Define a solution using architectural design principles based on requirements;

· Provide implementation guidance based on best practices to the team throughout the life cycle of the project.

· Handle code deployments in all environments

· Design & implement build, deployment and configuration management.

· Manage CI & CD Tools with the team

· Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning

· Analyze current technologies used within the company and determine ways to improve

· Document and monitor requirements needed to institute proposed updates

Requirements:

· Strong System Architecture experience (Infrastructure, Network, Security);

· Extensive experience with Cloud technologies;

· AWS Certification (Solution Architect) is highly preferred;

· Strong verbal and written communication skills (must be comfortable speaking directly to Cyber Security experts);

· AWS Architecture Experience with designing, deploying, maintaining and optimizing solutions on AWS;

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field preferred;

· An understanding of security features and tools that AWS provides and how they relate to traditional services;

· An understanding of network technologies as they relate to AWS;

· Ability to architect and deploy secure and robust applications on AWS technologies;

· An understanding of the basic architectural principles of building on the AWS Cloud;

· Ability to identify and define technical requirements for an AWS-based application;

· Ability to identify which AWS services meet a given technical requirement.

· Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures

· Extensive knowledge and experience working with operating systems

· Strong understanding of development and deployment of JavaScript, PHP, C# applications.
