Our client is a leader in the global marketing and communications implementation space and has an exciting opportunity for an experience Digital Project Director to be based in their London headquarters.

Under the guidance of the Group Account Director the Digital Project Director will responsible for managing the clients ever-growing digital project management team.

The Digital Project Director will find satisfaction in planning and managing complex campaign and application development work. While the primary focus of the role is to resource their digital project management team correctly, the Digital Project director will also be required to interface with their opposite numbers around the world.

They are proud of their digital production processes, they are constantly looking to improve it for the good of their people and clients, therefore the Digital Project Director will be the leader of any such improvements.

Working on a face paced retail brand, the Digital Project Director will understand deadlines are often tight and deadlines can’t be missed. This person should have an entrepreneurial approach to business and always looking at new, efficient processes and ways of delivering campaigns.

The Role:

  • Day to day leadership of 5 project managers
  • Coaching and development of individuals against personal development plans and KPIs in place
  • Ownership of the new digital process in place, training new team members and wider ring-fenced team
  • Monitor and enforce best practice across the team
  • Senior level client engagement
  • Internal risk management and escalation
  • Focus on efficiency and enable metrics to support both client and internal performance & feedback monitoring
  • Ensure a robust QA process is in place to support quality of output and Brand adherence
  • Sharing insights and strategies with Digital Project Directors around the global offices
  • Identify and implement new technologies focused on automation
  • Have fun working with great people in a great location

The Candidate:

  • Detailed understanding of and a passion for the digital advertising and web development space
  • Experience in creating and executing project plans
  • Experience managing teams
  • Collaborative and proactive approach working within the central technical and operations teams
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
  • Experience working with user experience designers, visual designers and software engineers
  • A valid passport and ability to travel at short notice if required
