IT Project Manager

One of the most prestigious, global consultancy firms are looking for an IT Project Manager to join as a consultant in their Munich office. You will have the opportunity to lead local delivery for office builds, moves, expansions and AV projects across Europe with some of the most exciting business undergoing significant change and transformation. You will work closely with key stakeholders, local management, IT, Global Real Estate & security.

IT Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage project scope and scope changes through collaborative process including all stakeholders, such as vendors, Global IT, peers, other SME’s.
  • Work with your Programme Manager on site to ensure successful completion of required office builds/ office moves/ office expansions and cater their AV requirements
  • Risk management – identify and communicate early and often to key stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively with business clients and all stakeholders regarding project status, scope, risk and deliverable timelines.
  • Manage and lead key stakeholders to define project scope and gather accurate and complete business requirements
  • Responsible for creating cost estimates, milestones, and resource requirements for the successful completion of each project
  • Monitor costs, milestones and resources used, and take action where these deviate from agreed tolerances

IT Project Manager Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree in computer science or a related field
  • IT Project Manager with proven successful contribution to programmes of work
  • Extensive experience in AV projects
  • Experience with networking or some level of construction project management is highly preferred
  • Experience as a Project Manager on office builds/ expansion/ moves highly preferred
  • Must be prepared to travel approximately 50% of your time
  • Exceptional stakeholder and communication skills – the ability to face off to C-Suite
  • A spoken second language will be an asset
