Lead Software Engineer

We have partnered with a powerhouse in the domain name registration sector that has been established for over 24 years. They are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join their growing team to help drive innovation as they are going through a huge modernization programme across the business to implement a new technology environment and methodologies.

They are a multinational business, with recently acquired offices & companies in the Asia Pacific and Australian regions. They are on a strong growth path & have doubled their team size every year for the past 7 yrs. You will experience explosive professional growth in whatever direction you desire.

Key Technical Skills and Experience:

• In Angular, React or Vue for creation of user interfaces.
• Python to an intermediate level for the creation of APIs using Flask, etc.
• Working knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, code quality controls and security.
• Delivery of Jamstack sites.

Key Soft Skills:

• The ability to build strong customer relationships.
• Knowledge of how to expose functionality to customers, aiding them in understanding their data.
• Able to drive successful teams

Desirable Skills:

• An understanding of PHP for legacy support.
• Strong skills in Agile/Lean mentoring.
• Knowledge of AWS, including S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, Lambda, Step Functions and DynamoDB.
• Prior usage of AWS Kinesis, Kinesis Data Analytics, Athena, etc.
• Cross platform development using Flutter, React Native or similar.
• Expertise in delivery of a microservices architecture.
