Project Manager

My Client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to be based in Milan on a 6 month extendable contract.

The successful applicant will be expected to start in September and must be Italian speaking.

The successful applicant must also have the following skills and must have experience of the responsibilities listed below.

Skills

• 10+ Years in the IT/ Telecoms industry
• Good working knowledge of Routing and Networking solutions
• BNG, IP Firewall, CGNAT, SDN-GW with Juniper equipment (MX, SRX, Contrail etc)
• Contrail Networking
• Strongly customer focused
• Ability to manage several projects at once and set priorities as required
• Strong leadership skills
• Self Starter
• Educated to Degree Level
• Prince 2 Practitioner or PMI qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/ vendors
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Review project scopes and objectives, as part of pre-sales
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Manage project schedules
• Manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
• Measure project performance using weekly reporting process
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/ vendors
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation following company process.
