Senior Product Manager

Technical Product Manager

Greater London Permanent £55000.00 - £70000.00 per annum

Lead “foundations stage” analysis of digital projects, appraising feasibility, high level capabilities and epics and working with stakeholders up to department head level to define business benefits, identify relevant regulatory factors, secure funding and (working with programme managers) define the high level plan and governance approach for the project.
 Own the business and feature requirements for the product delivery – work with business stakeholders to understand the requirements and the level of business priority for elements of the product.
 Identify and manage the business stakeholder map for Digital initiatives, work with stakeholders to agree take to market plans and ensure accurate and timely communication of programme progress
 Own the acceptance and quality criteria for delivered work and approve
 Facilitate smooth delivery by identifying and removing blockers
 Work with internal and external design and usability teams to define and deliver a world class user experience that exceeds customer expectations and delivers against the commercial needs of Camelot
 Communicate product vision and business needs to a technical team, and make real time autonomous decisions when conditions change, based on understanding of user and business needs
 Constantly question and challenge delivery teams and stakeholders to reduce complexity and optimise the delivery output
 Ensure the content, quality and accuracy of all features (acceptance criteria, designs, wireframes), review and sign off
Core skills and attributes
 Proven experience as a Product Manager in ecommerce B2C environments. B2B (For the retailer website role)
 Proactive with a proven track record of working on own initiative
 Curious – asks great questions, digs into customer insight to understand what it means for the product, challenge developers when they say something is complex so they can establish if there are easier ways to develop the feature that do not compromise the heart of what they’re trying to deliver for our players,
 Good stakeholder management skills
 Experience of working in an Agile delivery environment, ideally in a matrixed organisation and with some familiarity of working within an Agile Programme Management framework
 Strong familiarity with digital channels and capabilities. Familiarity with major digital technologies
 Skilled in identifying and developing high quality digital user experiences, supported by a dedicated professional UX, IXD and design team.
