My client is Urgently seeking a strong QA Lead (Mobile, Automation, Manual, SQL, UX) to join their London based offices within a driven, ambitious and fast paced team. My client are proud of their product which provides solutions to Educational Establishments.

The ideal QA Lead (Mobile, Automation, Manual, SQL, UX) will have a solid understanding of QA in an agile world, be comfortable working in a small team using a wide range of technologies. There is not a great deal of hand-holding, so my client looks for candidates who are comfortable analysing existing code and working things out.

The successful QA Lead (Mobile, Automation, Manual, SQL, UX) candidate will play a number of different and varied roles. You can look forward to plenty of variety and responsibility in your work. My Client believes this role will provide the opportunity to gain a broad and extensive range of skills and experiences.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure our quality goals are met.
• Give input to our product roadmap, our user stories and UX designs
• Continuously develop our QA strategy and release process using agile best practices.
• Own the learning release process: Triage and manage issues.
• Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.
• Lead and mentor QA team members, as well as manage outside contract testers.
• Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated).
• Build an automated test platform
• Inspire the team to raise QA awareness.
